I just mentioned how bizarre it was that they'd banned me despite me not having posted on there for over 3 years. After all, I can't think of any other places who ban members when they don't post!

@boboneleg......you can post this over there if you're not banned yet. The reason I tried to login (and found I was banned) was to PM Stu about a potential problem that's going to be heading his way.....in terms of Hosting. Back in 2011 I advised him to use the provider that I was using. He's still there, but I'm in the process of moving all my servers from them to somebody else because there's a trainwreck coming. Obviously I work in the industry so I get the background on what's happening that end users won't know, so I just wanted to give him the heads up. If I don't, and things get bad then no doubt I'll be blamed for that as well based on my recommendation back in 2011. Which actually turned out to be a good one, but a lot has changed since then. If he doesn't want to hear the advice that's his choice......at least I tried to do the right thing by not leaving him in the dark.

They're Public Health Warnings! Us old guys need a stark reminder that we're not young guys anymore. If it saves one person from going through the pain that I've suffered over the last year then it will all be worth it.

Unfortunately I haven't been up to anything for the last two months Tony......as I had a Hernia operation in early December. The op turned out to be a lot bigger than originally expected........ .......and recovery takes longer when you're nudging 70! So I've played it safe by not getting back on the bike yet. Bit frustrating because we had good weather over Xmas and New Year but I've just had to be sensible about it.

If we are banned from logging into our accounts then that's his right as the owner of the forum to do that. But if that is the case then our accounts and all the content we submitted over the years should be deleted as we can never access any of it again.

God forbid that any fun or humour should break out there!

Any bannings yet? In my case this banning breaks new ground! Cos I managed to get banned from a forum that I haven't posted on since 2020!
