In all honesty I'd prefer not to have to step in and issue a "calm down" post Pedro......not that it actually was that. It was more a case of clarifying how easily misunderstandings can occur in an environment like this.

I think the thing to remember is that there can always be misunderstandings on forums......primarily due to the fact that sometimes it's difficult to correctly interpret the intent behind the written word. Though if there's been a history of posts which cause doubts about the intent that's directed at a person then it can cause you to look at it a bit closer. Obviously in cases like when Tym threatened to travel to New Mexico to put a loaded gun in fat Dean's mouth it was probably a bit easier to establish the intent behind it.

If I can just make the point here......there's no problem is calling somebody a twat etc here.....it's par for the course. But the key thing is whether there is malice intended. FWIW I hurl abuse at the usual suspects and I get it back many times over......but there's no bad feeling, it's just banter. If somebody really doesn't like another member......then just put them on ignore. I think Six is ignored by two or three people, Tym is ignored by one person, maybe Buck is ignored by some? That's the solution......you don't have to read their posts if you don't want to. As Admin you can't block me......so you're stuck with my drivel. But the upside is my drivel costs you nothing! We're coming into the Holiday period so let's not let misunderstandings ruin the convivial atmosphere in this upmarket establishment.
