Nice walk Cheesy chips, haven’t had those in a while. Did the unofficial dish of Canada a few weeks back Poutine (but with garafalo mozzarella rather than curds) and red wine beef dripping gravy, amazing how many languages cheesy chips translates into Have you ever stopped off in Rumwells down the A38 (next to Sheppey Cider and the Triumph garage)? I never fancied the look of it but I read they’re into making doughnuts, make hundreds a week. You can order up to midday the day before and they’ll make them fresh for you in the morning just before they open.

It’s worth the risk, well if you enjoy that sort of risk that is. For the first time ever I caught a chair lift back down a mountain rather than ski it last week, that was a vin chaud related decision I stopped for one because my feet were cold but it was a tiny place and they didn’t have any change.. so I had to have two, just as I was finishing the others turned up and wanted one and I couldn’t be rude so.. Somehow I sensibly decided the icey slopes and my sloshy stomached self wouldn’t make good a good match so got the chairlift back down

Looks gorgeous! Right up my street. Apart from the snow shoeing you can keep that ! Chair lift up the mountain and sliding down on slippery sticks is the way to go.. literally checkout, it’s dumb and dangerous

I don’t know what to think about wealthy parents. I kind of am a bit of one now and I’m not sure how much financial support you can offer before you’re turning your kids into privileged aholes?! Obviously no support as they flounder their way out the gates into reality is just mean but wheres the line?

I have so many jobs to do today and next week but this can’t be arsed mood I woke up in isn’t good If I’m not on here much today dandy, if I am then I’m sabotaging future me.. as bloody usual I think the answer must be more tea…

Yep She had a cold and wasn’t firing on all cylinders so only a couple of swipes in my direction today. When I presented the foot stall I want to redo and my plan she said “Well you don’t make things easy for yourself do you, I can’t imagine what’s in your mind so I’ll help you BUT I take no responsibility for it” and ”That foam will be too high and will look weird, sorry but I have to say it” I reply “the whole rooms going to look weird, weirds fine” “Hmm I look forward to seeing it” ”Better practice your poker face then” ”Without any doubt” A couple of hours later I sit on the new foam stool and call out in a whingy way “Jill Jill I don’t like it, the foams to high” She almost cracked a smile at that but settled for saying “CaaRooline ” in a tone I’d say was somewhere between fond and murderous. Been flat out recently and today doesn't look much better. Have to shoehorn in my upholstery class this morning and I don't have my homework done so I'm expecting a savaging from the tutor. I tried very hard to get it done but it was one of those jobs that nothing and I mean absolutely nothing went right with including not one but two machines breaking, a 4-5 hours has so far taken from 5pm to past midnight for three days in a row and it's still not done. Can't imagine that's going to hold much water with the Eviscerator!

So does everyone just stay in when the weather does that?
