What about seat height though?
They do a lower one but ive yet to sit on one and it does depend on the width of the actual seat. I found the triumph tiger has a narrow seat so i was ok on the 800 stock seat.

Ive been doing a lot of moto camping. Sometimes Andy joins me after he finishes at work but often its just me and my trusty Honda. I have got my camping down to a fine art now and cannot wait for more adventures this coming year. I will be sorry to see the Honda go though as i know that bike inside and out i wonder what i will be getting to replace her if my claim is successful ........

Sorry to hear about your accident, injuries to the pelvis are always painful, you will probably be getting SJI which is eye watering, I used to get it on and off for years after my big off and it completely immobilised me when it came on.
Hope not. Been plagued with that for 15 years or so. Eventually found a cure for it, well for me anyway.
I used to sleep in the recovery position or some call it the flamingo position whilst on my side. And if i was on my back i would have one leg straight and the other bent with the knee flaring out. This puts the ligaments around the SI joint under immense strain for hours at a time. Now i sleep with my knees stacked if on my side and both legs straight if on my back and it has absolutely cured me. Even hubby does it now and never gets back ache anymore. Since my accident ive added a small memory foam cushion between my knees to keep my hip straight when on my side. Touch wood ive had no indications whatsoever of a flair up starting. Ive been pain free for around 7 years. Not one flair up since sleeping this way. It was pretty bad at times and debilitating. I could be laid out for 3 to 10 days at least 3 times a year.

That's the thing isn't it, everyone always blames the motorcyclist in an accident don't they unless of course they are themselves a motorcyclist.
The sheer audacity of the woman to say you should have been booked, it kinda reminds me of the little prang I had on my first ninja going back about 10 years ago were a car took the same exit as me then panicked because he didn't want that exit and tried to throw the car back on the to roundabout at the last second right in front of me and the wife, the copper who attended said to me that herts constabulary are currently running a bike safe rider course to which I responded with does he think I was in the wrong.....
He didn't exactly answer that question so I told him in to uncertain terms what I thought of him got on the bike and took off at max rpm then whilst he was standing there I exited the roundabout on the back wheel and gave it the berries down the a414
Gave it the berries not heard that one before

There's not too many up in my area, maybe it's too cold for them
Or expensive? Poles dont mind cold. They are a sturdy bunch.

Well I hope you take him for all he has, at least you have witnesses who can back your version of events up.
Was it just you and the flipflop involved?
Yes it was as far as im aware just the two of us. I came round on the floor momentarily and then again in the ambulance. The paramedic did say the driver was devastated and stayed with me the whole time.

The well renowned flip-flop, and I'd bet he blamed you for being there
Yes apparently i ran into him when i changed lanes. I always change lanes into cars to overtake a non existent car.

Welcome back.....sounds like you have had a terrible time of it.....hope the road to full recovery ain't a bumpy one.
Vertigo....tell me about it.
Awful isnt it !!! When i rold tge specialist he said what did i expect you have just head butted a road !! Well its been a few weeks now and its still there. The meds i have are to be taken as and when needed.
Problem with that is, i dont know when and uts generally over before a tablet would help.
Its all been a massive eff up from start to finish tbh. Last time i was at the Drs was 2017 and that was only for something routine. The whole medical systsm is broken and i just get sent back and forth without any real help. I get another xray on rhe 10th to see what this other bone is doing...hopefully its knitting and i can just get back to the gym because quite frankly im going round the twist !!!

I've been limited to what I could do this year as I had a Hernia......waited 9 months for the op which was done 3 weeks ago.
No hope of being back on the bike till sometime in January I'm afraid.

sounds nasty ..what happened , some one pull out on you ?
speedy recovery and have a good Christmas
hopefully you aint ruined it for the rest of the family and can still get in the kitchen and cook for them.
I was bimbling along minding my own business when a car to my right on a dual carriageway decided to turn into my lane taking me out. There are witnesses and someone has dashcam footage but its a slow process. Plus time of year holding things up.

Written off im afraid. I was on the nc750. The 400 is tucked away safe and sound.
I broke my hip socket and another pelvic bone that refuses to heal. I was knocked out so dont remember much of it and now have vertigo. Lovely i always wear the gear which saved my lower right leg from serious injury, as it was it just ended up getting a really good squishing.
