  1. Get to pick up the money pit tomorrow. This is going to be expensive 😩 but 😃hopefully chased away the last of the gremlins. He's done the forks AGAIN. He's found out why it was twisted at the front as if it had a bent fork...it doesnt...He's cleaned and balanced the carbs and put new carb mounts on. Serviced it. So we shall see. It sounds amazing. Wish i could post a video on here 😪

I remember them being pretty tall although there was a couple of them with lady riders. Hope it ticks all the boxes and enjoy.

It is quite tall. Im just ball if footing it. Its been lowered and has a low seat on it. Id like more of my foot on the floor tbh but it is what it is and i will just have to see how we get on. 🤞 i did have my very thick armoured winter trousers on and lose a bit of height and the seat on these bikes is very narrow. I could get a bit more taken out of the seat too if needed.

We didn't take much cash with us as we were expecting to use our credit card like we do everywhere else had to visit a bank to get some out. The locals said they had some big bust up with the government during covid where they were asked to go cashless and they all got stitched  so stopped using plastic to stick it to the man sort of thing apparently.

Bloody good on them too. 😊 i love them already

Cam you come give me some of that shit for my ribs mate, im in agony with them in 3 different places around the same rib. Just to right of my sternum, directly opposite position on my back and on my side.

Not been to a&e to get it checked because they can't do fuck all for ribs so just taking ibuprofen when I remember to take it but it definitely doesn't seem to be touching the pain

What a shame. You could have had mine. I hated the stuff and only used it twice. I was hoping they would send me home with the nice woozy trippy shit i was on in hospital.

    Why a Beemer?

Well i adore my honda 750s which isnt produced anymore and im not keen on the x version. I went to see one at honda blackpool but on the way home we stopped at BMW just for a nosey. The F750 gs te worked out cheaper and has way more about it. It has the look back factor unlike the Honda.

In all fairness though i need to ride them first.

  8. Once i have a bike hubs and i are planning a trip to Croatia. No concrete plans as yet but im fairly sure it will happen. Other than that I'll be off on my solo canps hither and dither with some open water swimming and some trail running involved.

Also plan to go on some ride outs with a couple of groups on facebook.

Im looking forward to getting a new to me bike or even a new new bike depending on my claim. I have a beady eye on the F750 gs but we will see.

Got back home and inhaled my lunch then promptly fell asleep 😳 woke up at 3pm 😴

Went for a couple of half hour swims this week as i was given the all clear to swim but im totally knackered. Oh well onward and upward 😊

Funnily enough my mum had a house guinea pig when I was younger.  Entertaining little chap, lot of character and surprisingly intelligent for a little fella.   I am pretty sure they are eaten in South America.

These two are very entertaining 😁 yes they are farmed in south america.
