Get to pick up the money pit tomorrow. This is going to be expensive but hopefully chased away the last of the gremlins. He's done the forks AGAIN. He's found out why it was twisted at the front as if it had a bent fork...it doesnt...He's cleaned and balanced the carbs and put new carb mounts on. Serviced it. So we shall see. It sounds amazing. Wish i could post a video on here

It is quite tall. Im just ball if footing it. Its been lowered and has a low seat on it. Id like more of my foot on the floor tbh but it is what it is and i will just have to see how we get on. i did have my very thick armoured winter trousers on and lose a bit of height and the seat on these bikes is very narrow. I could get a bit more taken out of the seat too if needed.

Well i adore my honda 750s which isnt produced anymore and im not keen on the x version. I went to see one at honda blackpool but on the way home we stopped at BMW just for a nosey. The F750 gs te worked out cheaper and has way more about it. It has the look back factor unlike the Honda. In all fairness though i need to ride them first.

Once i have a bike hubs and i are planning a trip to Croatia. No concrete plans as yet but im fairly sure it will happen. Other than that I'll be off on my solo canps hither and dither with some open water swimming and some trail running involved. Also plan to go on some ride outs with a couple of groups on facebook. Im looking forward to getting a new to me bike or even a new new bike depending on my claim. I have a beady eye on the F750 gs but we will see.

Work early doors then home to load the 400 in the trailer and get it round to Rust to Resto. Its still not running right. Will be good to get back out on a bike again. Fingers crossed Got back home and inhaled my lunch then promptly fell asleep woke up at 3pm Went for a couple of half hour swims this week as i was given the all clear to swim but im totally knackered. Oh well onward and upward

They do a lower one but ive yet to sit on one and it does depend on the width of the actual seat. I found the triumph tiger has a narrow seat so i was ok on the 800 stock seat. -

Kind of toying with the idea of F750GS -

Ive been doing a lot of moto camping. Sometimes Andy joins me after he finishes at work but often its just me and my trusty Honda. I have got my camping down to a fine art now and cannot wait for more adventures this coming year. I will be sorry to see the Honda go though as i know that bike inside and out i wonder what i will be getting to replace her if my claim is successful ........ -
Hope not. Been plagued with that for 15 years or so. Eventually found a cure for it, well for me anyway. I used to sleep in the recovery position or some call it the flamingo position whilst on my side. And if i was on my back i would have one leg straight and the other bent with the knee flaring out. This puts the ligaments around the SI joint under immense strain for hours at a time. Now i sleep with my knees stacked if on my side and both legs straight if on my back and it has absolutely cured me. Even hubby does it now and never gets back ache anymore. Since my accident ive added a small memory foam cushion between my knees to keep my hip straight when on my side. Touch wood ive had no indications whatsoever of a flair up starting. Ive been pain free for around 7 years. Not one flair up since sleeping this way. It was pretty bad at times and debilitating. I could be laid out for 3 to 10 days at least 3 times a year.
