Ahhhh thanks !!! I dont have any sleeping stuff yet so this is spot on thanks. Im heading off to windermere somewhere around there as its only an hour away. Any sleeping bag recommendations? Not a mummy one though. Freak me out those things !!!

My plan is to shuffle work round so that i can get two days off together. Once ive accomplished that and now that im dogless (struggling with this big time) i can load up snd bog off for a couple of days weather permitting. Sooo my question is can anyone give me some advice about loading my bike and riding with weight on. Im initially just going to put some clobber on it and ride round here where im used to but if theres hints and tips im in need of help and some encouragement really ta very muchly Ohhh i have lightweight gear for the job. Working xmas eve, 28th, 29th and 31st then back to normal 3rd jan. Would be working all this week but the chap i PT is ill he has MS and is quite disabled but has a home gym and loves to workout. Puts a lot of able bodied people to shame. He is a legend

We have a polish welsh guy over the road. He was really offended when we mentioned his polish accent. His wife is german and hes obvs welsh but her accent has rubbed off on him...she speaks very little English so i assume he speaks German. Anyhoo my hubs was chatting to a guy and on explaining where we live this guy says oh my polish mate lives over the road from us !!! So hubs says no he is Welsh and this guy says ohhh yeah but we all call him the polish one.

Yes i did. After a few months though my accent changed and i started to sound like a broad cockney. Weird thing is when i went back for a holiday 30 plus years later i couldnt help but start the accent again. Weird when you hear it yourself changing. Came back with mother on a holiday....only it wasnt a holiday she was infact leaving my dad. No one knew that at the time. Dad included....having said that, had i have known i wouldnt have stayed with him anyway as he was a twat and owned a Harley. True story. She said she just couldnt stand the leather chaps any longer. The embarrassment was killing her.
