Depends what he wants mate, the first gen Hinckley Triumph T300 series Triples can be picked up for peanuts. There was a tidy Sprint like mine sold on Ebay 4 miles from me for £440last week. I paid £510 for mine. Lots of bike for the money. They are modular as well, all the same cycle parts and tanks just the fairings that are different. Daytonas hold their money but Sprints and Trophies don't so there is lots of scope to play around. Also the 1200 motor is a straight bolt in for the 900 frame. So you can make a 1200 Sprint either by bolting in the motor or just changing the Bodywork. Hours of fun for you dad at little cost. The Legends (Bonnie Lookalike Triples) are a different matter they hold their money well but it is possible to turn any of the other models into a Legend with the right bolt on bits. Also you have the CRK Cafe racer kits for T300s. You are right though the money is in 125's but life is to short to be fecking around with them IMHO. I will do it for my brood but it's doesn't float my boat really.

My old man retires in a month or so and he wants to go in to abit of bike restoration i said he should do 125s as there will always be a need for them but he wants to do mainly old British makes, not sure he'll get much

Does anyone know what attoseconds is ? 1 attoseconds ...contains has many seconds has the age of the universe ( If you were to transform the age of the universe into seconds )..that's how fast entangled particles interact...so you see @Pedro some things do travel faster than light...

Anyway it be something to look at Nute..who knows after you calculate everything...it might be cheaper just to have done...

Glass beads are used with water blasting.
-
Not sure exactly what they use around here...walnut or glass..but it has to be done at low pressure...
-
Water blasting is better with aluminium.
-
Have you checked what would a bodyshop charge you...? To have sand blasted with the proper stuff...

The new formula Nitromores isn’t as good as the old one, on the plus side it no longer gives you emphysema. I also hear that Aircraft paint remover is very good but expensive and Jenolite.

Shakedown of the Sprint continues. Got to the bottom of what I thought was a miss fire. Turns out it was a failing vacuum fuel tap. If I can get the bits should be a relatively easy fix. Also bike riding and running beautifully, real pleasure to ride. Got back today only to find I have blown a fork seal. So some good some pain in the arse. Looks like I will be stripping down the front end in the near future. Love the bike though, can see this is going to be a keeper. Bugger Love the look of it

Looks like we will be joining the UK has well..that law just passed...it's a slippery slope when your government decides what is or what's not...I just don't understand this..laws already exist for this , you can go online and threaten somone...sounds to me like more control from the government..and if you disagree...jail time...lol...reminds me of the freedom convoy we had a few years ago where people were throw in jail and bank account frozen cause some disagree with the crazy covid mandates...

I’ll be getting my ticket for Silverstone.

You see every atom in the room you are sitting in , including yourself can interact with one and others faster than the speed of light..just because you can't see something it doesn't mean that its not real...think has your mind a radio receiver, we can only access one Chanel at the time...but there's and infinite amount of channels... Does anyone want me to continue or should I let this rest.. @Pedro...lol.

Let me explain this in a simpler form , we are on the verge of discovering something amazing , we see the world in 1 and 0 , in a digital form . Put a mouse in a maze , at every junction the mouse has to think , left or right...this is basically how a digital computer works , we see the world in the same manner, but it's not how things are really...or how things function. When you look at this on a qwantum level or with a qwantum computer it has already figured out the maze before the mouse even moved..instantly....maybe in the not to distant future we will figure what was Einstein was looking for and in a way it might even be possible to communicate with God directly...

I just don't get this serie at all...a bunch of Harleys going around in circles...the only reason this serie is so popular on this side , is the competition between the two manufacturers...who in the hell would cares to watch Dingdong from Pakistan ride a Harley...lol.
