  1. Past hour
  2. I rode one a while ago, I loved it, felt very aggressive and intense regardless of not being too powerful. Overall, too intense, too thirsty, expensive for what it was on paper, but it did feel special.
  3. Today
  4. The K1600s are very nice to ride, but the engine is a little delicate regarding poor quality fuel. They do sound great.
  5. Anything Italian looks beautiful, but it’s going to be in the shop a lot.
  6. I saw some in the beemer dealer when I picked up my new bike. They look great and are certainly big and imposing…and expensive. I think if I talked myself into getting an enormous bike I’d be on a triumph rocket. Need a bigger garage though
  7. Yes I've seen this one in person , really nice...but never sat on one...
  8. Totally forgot the Kawasaki 1400....have to check it out again...the 1300 is a beautiful bike...for myself think the leg room would be a deal breaker for me...
  9. If I was purely touring then probably the big beemer out of those.
  10. BMW RT would be my choice, 1200, 1250 or 1300. Although I am more comfortable on a GS Adventure on anything not a motorway. Kawasaki 1400 GTR, probably second choice. I do have a soft spot for a Harley Low Rider ST, and would have one as a third or fourth bike. I would need a very big driveway to be able to turn it around
  11. So you are saying they are badly made. okay.
  12. Yesterday
  13. You need to get some new material....bottom pic is a air cooled engine...a few thunderstroke engine ...and I mean a few..like 3....this bolt wasn't properly torque on the assembly like... Can we get back on subject now please... Let's imagine we or any of us ...is shopping right now for a long distance touring machine...what would it be... Goldwing Bmw 1600 Harley road or street glide Indian pursuit Did I miss any ? Can we at least have a serious motorcycle discussion without it turn into a skit from SNL...lol. And the budget is 35,000 American.
  14. Looks like Buckster is running out of new material..lol...Pedro this bike was fitted with a sidecar and struck a Ford Festiva head on...the pic is from New-zelan I think...the Harley boys like to pull this old pictures ...lol. very popular with Harley trolls on many sites...lol.
  15. Bike ran over some banding and the headstock snapped.
  16. Service like changing the oil and stuff..? ..or service like ripping apart the engine at every 60 thousand milles ? This Indian ran for over 300 thousand miles with regular oil changes and a magneto had to be replaced.... Here I'll make it even easier for you...Ian...lol. Indian makes a better motorcycle than ( Harle...) the only thing missing is the last letter....my God if you can't figure this one out..lol. I'm telling you...you will feel better afterwards, the thruth will set you free my friend...lol.
  17. Last week
  18. You forget, unlike you I know how to service my own bike. By the way you probably shouldn’t waste your five daily posts like this.
  19. Not sure what make of a bike this was...in Wisconsin the other week...the bike hit a grasshopper at 80 mph...and totally shattered to peices..
  20. Here I'll make it easy for you @Buckster.....you'll just have to fill in the missing word...are you ready ? Indian make a better motorcycle than...(..........) the missing word starts with and "H"....I can't possibly make it easier for you...lol.
  21. Totally forgot to show you all the indian dealer right has your pulling in into sturgis....Indian stand alone dealer...its huge. The last pic..is the shed they use to show the new motorcycles for sales...didn't get a pic of the main building...
  22. Oh beleive me I've sat on a few Goldwing...seating position is cramped...it would fitt you perfectly with your short windscreen...lol Like professional were saying...if you see your Harley has a rolling investment...then get a Harley....and if your willing to invest 10 thousand dallors on up-grades..and ride quality isn't and issue.....it's a perfect bike for you... Long term...get and indian.
  23. They have made a v-twin Honda goldwing, Perfect for you until you get a Honda, of course the depreciation is going to cause you to think twice before trading up to the Goldwing.
  24. Are you finally admitting defeat...Indian makes a better motorcycle all around.. ? NVM....you don't have to answer....your silence speaks more than words...lol.
