Figure you guys don't see many snowblower like this in where most of you live...since im servicing it , I'll post a few pics.

About the blower itself it a pronovost commercial grade  , they have 3 levels of blowers...the lyns  , the puma , and the commercial one wich this one is..its 72 inches wide , 30 inches high at the main intake and I think the impeler is 26 inches.  Its got 356 hrs on it , they are Canadian built , no China parts on these...lol...built in Quebec...it weigh 900 lbs..

Wasn't always this fortunate to own such a thing...I did freeze my arse off for many years, I remember countless nights shoveling snow at my father's house when I was boy , before snowblowers were invented...lol

Before this tractor , I just had walk behind blowers...remember the first winter I moved to this place , the snow was so high I could touch the lower cable on the telephone pole...there was so much snow around the house I had to hire a payloader with a front mount blower to clear the snow around the foundation...since it was are first winter to this place...was affraid to get water in the basement when it starts melting...

The unit needs a minimum of 30 pto hp to run properly and thats what the tractor has when it's running properly...that's why I need to figure out why  the air is getting in the fuel rail....

I used to use some clear fuel pipe. Connect before and after the filter as nine times out of ten that’s where the prob is.

Excellent idea Catt...to late for me to try that now...ill give it a go tomorrow maybe..

Was chatting with the LS tractor dealer few minutes ago , he's got one of his service tech in my  area (15 min away ) doing some work on another machine...he said he could check it out around noon sometime...told him yes , have him stop by...anyway there's no way to get the air out other than loosen the injector lines wich is a total pain in the arse with all that crap sitting on top of the engine...and they can preform the bleed with there special scanner tool...without having to loosen lines...

Dam polution crap again...DPF filter was 95% clogged, he's able to see it from data coming through his laptop....I guess when it gets close to regen time , some of them start acting up before the light turns on to give you a warning its close to regen time....hopefully the bill won't be to bad..

I checked about deleting the emission crap , says the have to send the ecu to Quebec to a specialty shop to have it modified.....said he did one , the ecu failed 6 months later , so the fellow had to buy a new ecu have it shipped back to Quebec and the ecu in these sell for 10,000 dallors, price went up , they were 6 g  a few years ago...so definitely won't going down that road....

Can’t you just jam the valve open on the filter?

The inside is made something like a cat converter....you could probably cut it and remove the filter from it ,  but would probably start throwing codes...

It will as it has pressure sensors seeing how bad the filter is blocked so it knows when to regen.
Easiest is a chemical from Wurth you can spray into the DPF and run the engine, works a treat.
