  1. Our town has an annual race up a hill - mostly T- buckets and pre-1940's - in September. I'll post pics of it when it happens. Tons of cool cars.
  2. Finally - a yacht that I can afford....
  3. 4C here this morning - had to put on my old man slippers.
  4. Run for your lives!!!
  5. Yes! My brother had two new ones back when I was a kid. When I was 12 or so, he'd let me back it out of the garage - was a thrill for me.
  6. Agreed. There are always tons of Mustangs at these events, but few nice, clean wagons and trucks. They're my favorites.
  7. It is! Drag your T7 over and we'll go for a spin.
  8. Doood - it had Cragar's on it!!! How cool is that guy?
  9. Today's (Sunday) ride will probably be a bit shorter and we'll stick to teh hills and dirt roads to avoid traffic. More pics as it happens...
  10. Good God man, are you insane?!??!?!?!?
  11. We made it home in time to get cleaned up and head to Golden for the monthly old car drive in and cruise. Guys with their old cars just drive through town and all of the locals get their lawn chairs out and watch. It was a good time...
  12. Holiday weekend here in the States, so the traffic on the freeway below us was at a standstill. Glad we avoided that....
  13. Troublesome Pass. We had reached the end of our route and headed back at this point...
  14. But it was a prefect day to be out and we had a great time...
  15. Loads of dirt bikes in the area as well - ripping around like loons. I was jealous.....
  16. We started the day at about 40F (4C) and it got up to about 70F (21C) in the afternoon. Perfect!
  17. We finally get to the dirt - headed towards Troublesome Pass. Had an awesome time on this and did about 100 miles ...
  18. Once out of the burn area, we crossed the Continental Divide again. This area didn't burn, but you can see why other areas did. Look at all of the dead trees lying on the forest floor - all killed by the pine beetle infestation. Lots of fuel on the ground ready to burn...
  19. Named "The East Troublesome Fire", it was a doozy....
  20. Could still smell the smoke as we rode...
