  1. That's it - just a quick blast near home and I'm back.
  2. Almost back home and passed above the lake at Dillon....
  3. Rode around the lake to find teh stream that feeds into the lake. Passes by yet another abandoned gold mine...
  4. Tried to find an off road way around Hoosier Pass with no luck. Found a cool lake though and the waterfall that feeds it...
  5. Back down the hill to Como again I go. This is the train depot, eating house and hotel that are obviously not in use anymore. Shame. Not a lot else happening in Como these days...
  6. My goal today was to go over Boreas Pass and into Breckenridge from the south - but the Pass was closed due to Covid-19 safety measures. WTF?
  7. Next stop was the Train Roundhouse in Como. Wish I could have gotten closer but it was fenced off.....
  8. ..got the bike out and went for a scoot. Passed the Cline Mansion, looks like it could use a bit of paint. Built in 1928 by Foster Cline (rancher) Bet it was soemthing to see in it's day...
  9. If you're able to design something, I have lathes and milling machines at my shop and can whittle it out of aluminum if you'd like.
  10. I 've been wearing the Dainese Four Stroke Evo gloves for a few years now - usually get 3-4 years out of a pair. Not waterproof (rarely rains here), vented and all leather. And they come in a size 3XL for my petite, dainty little hands.

  12. Nope, entire town is fenced off due to lead poisons being all over the place. Very toxic area.

  15. Even though this was at about 9,500' of elevation, it was still pretty hot out in the Sun...

  17. This was the old field house at the Camp along with some historical pictures. Place had nearly 15,000 soldiers in it at one time...
  18. Stopped by an old WWII US Army camp where they once taught soldiers to alpine and Nordic ski and blow shit up. I paid attention to the ordnance sign. Looks like a few others did as well by applying some of their own ordnance to the sign...
  19. The creek was moving fast with cool water...
  20. Gilman is a more modern ghost town where they once mined lead - as recently as 2005 or so. It polluted the entire area and it is now off limits to people...
  21. Had some time off todfay, so a quick blast was in order. Couldn't think of anywhere to go, so over to Minturn / Gilman it was...
