    I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, they are very old school and as such have a certain charm about them. I think those people that find them disappointing are probably expecting too much of them. If you take them at face value they are a lot of fun but as I’ve said before they do have their limitations.

    So I’m guessing by your negative comments that you’ve at least ridden a Himalayan? What was it that you specifically didn’t like?

    That's exactly what I do and it's amazing the things you see and find when travelling on smaller roads.

    To be honest they are a bit limited in my view. Don't get me wrong, it will sit at 65mph okay but if you want to crack on at 70+ then it gets a bit tiring and defeats the purpose of the bike. It's comfortable though and 60-65mph is it's ideal travelling speed.

    Just a pic of the trusty Himalayan out and about on the local trails. It’s ideal for south east Spain.
