And originally I did have ginger facial hair and eyebrows.......but my hair was brown with a slight auburn tinge in certain lights. But the problem with ginger in the genes is it keeps replicating. You can't stop it. The 3 sons from the first marriage were all ginger.....but so was my first wife, that's the perfect storm really. I'm pretty sure you are at mid 30's. The oldest is 76.......so I'm not even the oldest here at 66.

But a lot of knowledge and experience lies behind the light hearted banter. Just cos people don't make it serious doesn't mean they don't take it serious. For example @Lone Amigo was riding in the 1950's........and I believe (and he'll correct me if I'm wrong) he even raced against Dick Mann. The other thing is I'm sure everybody here has ridden all their lives.......and most of us are really old now. Lot of years, lot of miles, lot of injuries too. The youngest is @Pedro who's nearly 40......but he's been with us since 2004. With you joining he can finally relinquish his Baby of the Forum role!

They're different types of forums really.....I mean this isn't the sort of place to come to ask advice on passing your test for example. We haven't got a clue......most of us here did our tests in the 60's, 70's, and 80's.

Of course......forums are like pubs. You go to different ones. But some forum admins can get possessive over "their" members......bit odd really. I'm not saying that's the case over there.....I don't know.
