I was just checking something on ButtRider......and you're limited to only 10 pics on a Ride Report. It's impossible to get away with only 10 pics when I'm doing abandoned villages and railway stations.

In case you're looking for it I've merged motorcycle news into motorcycle chat.....including all the feeds. The sections were very similar so it's better to have one with more posts rather than two half empty ones. I plan to introduce a new section soon.....Motorcycle Touring. Where we'll give free publicity to all the Tour Companies, Travellers, Book Authors etc to promote their stuff. This also gives me an opportunity to ask the FB Adv Group Admins if I can post a link to this place where I invite these people to promote themselves. So it's a win-win really. The businesses get exposure here and we get exposure on FB. Unless some power tripping FB group admins put the kybosh on it of course!

Dell and Lyn's bikes got collected by Magnum and taken back to Britain for them for a song. So I had to repay the favour to Magnum......that's the way I roll! It's a biker thing Bruce......you wouldn't understand. Neither do I of course......cos I'm not a biker. You've got to be in a little local biker club wearing a patch and swilling beer in a field of mud to qualify! And somehow that lifestyle choice never appealed to me somehow!

When there was a British motorcycle industry the carnage never seemed to bother them. Course in 73 it all changed cos the Japs had killed them off! So along came the moped laws, compulsory helmets......and all the other obstacles to getting a licence they've put in place since! None of which I understand. So the thinking seemed to be that it was fine to wipe yourself on a Bantam cos it was British......but god forbid you should do that on a Jap before they'd made money out of you. Point of interest here......I never killed myself on my D7 Bantam. Not many fatalities went down when you were pushing a bike you see. But my awful experiences with BritShit served me well in 2007 when I had to push Magnum's Guzzi to the bike shop......cos he was too fucking fat to do it.

I mentioned in another thread where a bunch of us left the pub at closing time and drove up to London in an old minibus to see this show in November 1972. We were all aged between 16 and 19 (I was 18) and for many of us it was the first time we'd ever been to London. The world was a much smaller place then you see. Amazing to think that was nearly 50 years ago now (I had a Suzuki 250 Hustler at the time).....but I wonder how many of us on that trip are still here? I know a few didn't make it through the 70's unfortunately. Anyway, this event was the first showing of the legendary Z1 in the UK......the importers then were Agrati. I think a lot of these people today have become paranoid about everything. Fuelled by the Internet and reading the ridiculous outpourings of the likes of David Icke and Alex Jones. They just look for a conspiracy involving the likes of the New World Order, The Illuminati, Jews, Muslims, Israel, Rothchilds, 5G, ChemTrails, Google, Bill Gates, Tony Blair etc everywhere.

I tend to think it's a question of wrong priorities Keith. Like swearing......we can say "fuck" and they can't. Presumably that makes us uncouth to some? But it's not the word itself that's the problem......it's just a sound you make. The problem is the meaning and intent of the words that are used in conjunction with it. For example, if there was a Holocaust Denier on the board (we did have one many years ago) and he said "fuck" in his post.......what would be most offensive? The Holocaust Denial or the "fuck"?

I'm lucky where I live because it's so easy to get out (weather permitting) and avoid people. Actually it's harder to find them than it is to avoid them. In Britain of course you tend to be all jammed in to urban areas.

I've seen some of those vids with people getting results of their DNA tests......and Africa and India always end up somewhere in the mix. I don't know how accurate these tests are.....but I wouldn't take one. Shit.....imagine the horror of finding out that you have some English DNA!?
