The Welsh assembly government decided to change the default road speed limit nationally from 30mph to 20mph.
Even a left wing media outlet Wales Online admits that their study shows that the numbers against it are overwhelming with 8,770 people saying no to it and a mere 825 saying yes, not that any votes or public opinion counts in a socialist run country.
If anyone wonders why it's not a good idea then drive to work today without exceeding 20mph

This new law only affects roads which are currently 30mph but this is where most cars drive, in towns and cities, drivers will getting overtaken by cyclists, it's totally bonkers.

Then around 1975 I went a fair way up the old track path on an XL125. Wanted to get to the tunnel at the Railway Inn......but it got too difficult halfway up. Then they made it into a country walk sometime in the 80's.
