  1. Well... yeah who else is going to do it
  2. It is, its in the form of Bucky the kiddy fiddler bus driver
  3. Fair enough, I guess these days generally if you've ridden on you've kinda ridden them all sort of thing as these days there aren't really any bad bikes apart from the Chinese stuff that's coming through but one day even the Chinese crap will be decent. Yeah it is needed that to survive biking you need to have some kind of natural ability its not really something that can be taught you either have it or you don't. I think its only gixxer riders that run out of natural ability these days
  4. What's the bristol slab about? It looks like the top of a long forgotten column of Greek heritage or something
  5. It probably had a feels like temperature of -75⁰c with the wind chill
  6. He was abit of a liability on a bike you mean?
  7. How do you remember what something was like to ride from 50 odd years ago? I struggle to remember what my gs550es was like to ride from 20 years ago
  8. The retirement is going well then
  9. Right.... well when you know all the details then come back to me, you weren't there you just think you know, as a professional driver there was nothing else I could have done to avoid a collision. But you must know better.....
  10. I always know what's going on....
  11. That should have said 'not want it'
  12. It's just a rebranded harley, so no doubt you will want it
  13. I'd hazard a guess that no they don't, could we not just shorten it to cock
  14. Well im sure everyone will agree that there doesn't have to be contact for a driver to be at blame of causing an incident, he was the one who was driving too fast so he's the one who was at blame
  15. Hmm OK mate whatever you say, I've been driving long enough to know what I'm doing, it's poxy bus drivers thinking they own the fucking roads that caused the incident, if I was on a horse and his driving caused the horse to scare and bolt who's fault would that have been then? The wanker in the bus or the person riding a horse? Or put it another way a twat on a harley is riding down the road and a bus heads straight for them on a narrow road causing you to swerve putting you in a ditch is it the harley riders fault or the bus drivers for driving too fast on a road that wasn't safe to do more than 25 or 30 mph. Either way you look at it I had as near as dammit stopped my truck as I was driving sensibly, the bus on the other hand was still doing at least 30 when I realised it wasn't going to stop, I took avoiding action which ended up with my nearside wheels going on to the very soft verge, the bus just drove on as if they hadn't been the cause
  16. What the real reason of not wanting to have a head on collision with a bus doing 30mph, I'm all out of wanting to have head on collisions these days it wore pretty thin 20 years ago
  17. Well that's this site fucked then
  18. Also how do they get so little power out of such a large displacement engine.... well it is American and the yanks are known for their large engines which produce no power
  19. They've missed a few zeros out on the dry and wet weights too I notice
  20. I've just got home from taking skye to the play cafe, next up is lunch and food shopping so unlikely to be out today
