For a hobby lathe the part you made looked pretty good, I take it the bearings aren't all knackered after a couple of uses and that it's reasonably accurate?

What lathe do you have? I wouldn't mind having one, not that I have any room available at the moment

The other thing you could get is a mount for the lathe than you can fix the part to and have the tool in the chuck

Is it petrol or diesel?

Looks like you need to invest in a milling machine, it would have made the groove much easier and neater

What kind you got? A picanto? Sounds like a fueling issue to me

It definitely looks man-made, the little opening in the middle looks like some kind of pillbox type machine gun opening

What is that in the background? Is it a cave type dwelling? Looks like an interesting place to explore
