I think that they're both part of the same trust anyway. Fingers crossed that she gets seen sooner.

No, I agree Clive, September is way too long to wait. Unfortunately getting seen for some things is a bit of a postcode lottery. Would they be under Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham?

Has your daughter tried changing your granddaughters diet slightly? Maybe she has a lactose or gluten intolerance? My eldest son has Crohn's and he has to steer away from anything with high fibre. Obviously your daughter wants to get to the bottom of it, but trying to alter your granddaughters diet slightly may help. Also, could it be anxiety? Is your granddaughter stressed about anything? School, bullying, etc?

Unfortunately it's the underfunding of the NHS that is the disgrace really. That and the increased regulations that the health service have to operate under now. Some of my old customers used to complain that they had to take front line staff off of their primary roles and put them at a desk just to keep up with all the regulatory requirements!

I used to belong to a Triumph group that had a yearly camping meet with a rideout on the Saturday.  I'm not a fast riders, but some of those guys were so slow it was painful! The guy that ran the group was an absolute bell-end too. One of my mates got stiched up by him, so we didn't leave under the best of terms!

Lots of Harleys again tonight and a few others plus a large youth 125 group.  
Really nice XS Eleven and a new Triumph 400X., plus some tidy Beamers.   We left early as Chloe still not 100% well, loads more bikes coming as we left.  
 

Good on your daughter for making contacts and still enjoying the bike scene. Neither of my boys have any interest in motorbikes! I blame their mother!

Actually,  I think that the Scrambler clutch was as light as the CB, Pete. The clutch on the Tiger may be just that the cable needs a bit of lube.

Yes, it's an interesting ride through there. Obviously there's not too many places to stop on that road, but the café and carpark at the southern end of it is close enough to get some good views. It's times like that that I wished I had a GoPro or similar, but even then it's hard to appreciate what it's like,  unless you go through it yourself!

Yeah, the new bike is working out fine. I can't work out if the clutch is heavier on this compared to the Scrambler, or if it's just that I went further and more gear changes, but my clutch hand was aching a bit when I was on the way back. I think that I need a new screen though. Even on the highest position I get some wind blast right on the peak on my lid, so it rattles the lid a bit! Otherwise it's nice to ride.

Nice one, Saul. I'm not averse to a well organised and sensible mass rideout, but inevitably you get the wannabes at a lot of them and it just spoils the vibe!
