Its because the tiger tank was and over engineered machine...it looked good on paper...but was a nightmare to repair out on the field...to complicated for nothing...
-
Have you seen this Buck...they are aiming to have bike in the 200 hp range... Buckster won't tell you this...even thoe the challenger is a race bike...it's still highly restricted by rules to make it a fair race for Harleys...even with a significant displacement disavantage...112 ci..to 135 ci...
-
Have you noticed Buckster hasn't tried to dispute any of my claims....kinda makes you think don't it...?
-
I'd give up now if I was you...lol.
- Today
-
It's all coulda shoulda woulda with you!
-
Stay out of this idiot...lol.
-
Getting back on subject Pedro...you were comparing that beauty from BMW to the powerplus engine...im sure at 160 hp BMW hasn't much left in the tank with that engine...you do realize the powerful powerplus is de-tuned sold to the public...that engine can easily produce over 200 hp with only intake and exaust mods...
-
I love how little the IOM style bubble looks on top of that huge bike
-
Its under warranty Pedro...why would I work on it...? Have you forgotten Pete's BMW experience...lol. Nothing against German engineering....from having looked at the company in general...to bikes to cars...they are over engineerd...why was the Sherman tank better than the tiger. ?
-
You literally bought a trailer to take your bike to the dealership, @Marcel
-
I don't know. We could look at used bikes for sale and see which have the highest mileage. I don't know what you're talking about ABS nightmares. You take yours to the dealer on a trailer when it sneezes and it's 3 hours away, and you call yourself a good mechanic. So how is the Indian being simple helps you? You're the one going on about your own bike seeping fluids and going in for warranty work, plus needing remaps, etc, not to mention the weak cast frame. I call bullshit.
-
A friend of mine owned one...it was and older model...can't remember the year...it wasn't very old...the abs unit failed on it and the warranty had just ran out...it was actually cheaper to scrap the bike than having it repaired...
-
Way better in leaking oil...lol...omg Pedro this is another Ducati kinda bike...plague with ABS nightmares...so complicated built that only a dealership can work on them...how reliable are they ? Don't see this bike breaking the endurance record that for sure....
-
Now now...no need for insults...we're just talking about bike...lol.
-
Same market, touring bike, not less comfortable in any way, carries the same luggage and passenger in comfort. But you're right, it's not in the same ballpark, it's way better.
-
I don't care what you call it, it is what it is in the real world. That 1800 is what BMW made with you and your friends in mind. Low, can't lean, slow and massive, so you and your friends can cruise at 120kmh for 5 ours before "sharing rooms"
-
-
Again apple to oranges....a six cylinder now...lol....but that is a beautiful bike I have to admit...but not in the same ball park ...this is what we call a sport touring... I was talking about this Bike from BMW...

Your bike“s segment? Expensive overweight touring cruiser? They made this: It's 6 cylinders, 1650cc, 160hp, and 175Nm torque, 115 (front) and 135mm (rear) suspension travel, 336kg wet. Your piece of shit is 1780cc, 122hp, 173Nm torque, 130(front) and 118mm (rear) (WTF??) suspension travel, and 361Kg dry. So heavier, way slower, less smooth and comfortable, and shittier handling. Quarter mile, since it matters to you: 10,9 for the BMW vs 12,7 for your barge. The BMW will be nicer to ride, smoother and faster, sounds nicer, and runs rings around your boat anchor. It's vastly superior on everything!
