I heard people saying that they were better at higher pressure.

In all seriousness...first set I ran them at indian recommended pressure...36 front 41 rear...they did scalope a little...increase the pressure by 5 pounds fixed that problem...

Everything is taken into consideration to ensure they can screw as much money out of you as possible. The days when it was a service are long gone.

You would need a stage 5 to make things comparable...lol.
-
So about 12,000 miles, that would be more like 8,000 with my stage 2 tune.
-
Myself about 20 thousand km...im sure I could get .maybe 25 or so if riden normally...
-
How many miles are you getting from them?
-
You know I had forgotten how better a bike rides with new shoes...lol...actual millage on that crusetec tire..23 thousand km...but it all fairness it was cooked at the 20 mark...it is what it is...sure I could probably find something that would last longer...but this is and excellent all around performance tire..wet , dry , how good it feels in different situations...if I was riding a Harley I wouldn't hesitate one bit on the cruise tec.

Just curious Nute...how your insurance work ...is the premium based on the value of what's being insured...or full coverage doesn't matter if the car is 15 years-old or new..your still paying the same amount ?

Anyone know anything about mass airflow sensors?

Felt fine when I rode it. Stops reasonably well considering its age. I know the right mirror is missing, couldn’t be bothered to refit it. -
I had to renew my car insurance last week. Wrong side of sixty, no claims for 20 years and it’s still bloody expensive.

You have the tyre on backwards.

I do alot of online read , I was reading a study done by the BBC... on a study on bestiality...I guess 89 % of the cases in Whales started by counting sheeps ....if your having sheep dreams...it's best to get a hold on a therapist right away Bob...

Is the right hand brake caliper not working? -
Insurance has dropped a whole £5 but they have altered the cover and tried to add as much again in extras, it looks like they have dropped trailer cover as well so it’s time to shop around.

They weren't Indians, they were Triumphs.

It lives !! Rode it down to the village and back, only about a mile but I live at the top of a long steep hill and didnt want to have to push the thing too far if it did crap out. Smokes like a bitch, but I think it's from being on the side stand for a while - illogically that puts the crank case above the head, so oil seeps to the top of the engine. Ive ordered a right hand side stand for it. Its a heavy bike and the original side stand allows the bike to lean over at a really steep angle - make me nervous seeing it like that so hopefully the new right hand stand will give it a more upright position ... otherwise I will have to adapt it so it does. Still need to fiddle with the rev counter, it's a bit jumpy so will experiment with where the input comes from. Also need to get the gas gauge to work. -
Oh and @boboneleg !! You might want to tell your therapist, if this all started when you started counting sheeps before sleep...
