No, bought it from the guy that did but he then lost interest so lots of kinks to iron out. It had less than 300 miles on it.  As I can’t afford a real one this is the closest im going to get.

It’s great fun, tho ( when it’s working) I doubt it would beat a Tesla away from the lights.

There;s a museum in town full of the real ones - all sorts of cool crap in there. I have some pics of it around here someplace.

They have lots of tee shirts for sale - gimme your size and addresss in a PM and I'll get ya one....

    edit: added some pics

  2. Weird as Hell place that the wife picked for dinner (fuel station hot dogs would have been better). She had the planked salmon and I went with some kind of flat bread pizza. 3 beers with some kind of dip with bread chips and I was out the door for $161.00. A bargain!

  3. Knocked out a short overnight trip with the wife on the Gold Wang to Duyrango, Colroado.

Cruised through the Back Canyon of the Gunnison National Park along the way. The Canyon isn't all that deep, buit it's about 50 miles or so in length. No other traffic at all...

Have ridden that several times but don't ever remember it being that green... was always pretty brown when I was there in the summer.

    Are you retired Eric ?

Pretty much. I still make custom furniture as a side gig, but only work when I want to. As my summer is very short - just over three months - I have to squeeze as much riding in as I can during the nicer weather.

Great stuff Eric....that's some serious millage...

Had three days of over 750 miles per day - those were a bit less than fun towards the end of the day. Most other days were less. Trip was 14 days with three days off of the bike to rest up, laundry, oil change, etc.

I watched Marty tripes race one of these in Trans-AMA races when I was in high school.  We thought it was an exotic bike back then.
