Earache

Maybe I'll see a train or abandoned building on the way home today - not holding my breath though. So here's a pic of the bike outside my hotel as filler....

I guess I did take some pics of Oklahoma - when I stopped to pee next to a cotton filed...

The roads in Arkansas are smooth as you like - and without any traffic....

I did see some weird stuff in Arkansas though - old woodworkers store. That pile of oak boards in his open shed is worth some good cash right now...

Last day of the ride today; just have to bust out 600 more miles today to get home. I haven't taken a single pic of Oklahoma or Kansas so far as, quite frankly, there's nothing to see. Just me mile munching miles across the plains - pretty boring. Looks like I'll hit a good window to get home without it snowing, but it is pretty cold. Waiting on the Sun to come up so I can get going today.

It's an artform for sure. But it sounds soooo much nicer than "I froze my ass off" when in mixed company.

I've often asked the same - don't know. And the prices that they charge for the "throw away" parts is hard to believe.

Headed north today, skipping the previously planned Texas portion. Will do some Oklahoma and Kansas instead. Pics to follow...

Rode through Memphis, Tennessee and stopped off for a quick pic of Graceland - Elvis Presely's home. Rather large place with the exterior wall covered in graffiti. They keep the place pretty well hidden and force you to buy a tour package. Which I didn't do....

Not a lot to see out here except cotton fields and lots of truck stops....

Tuesday kinda sucked - had to ride from Knoxville to Benton, Arkansas. Left around 0500 and froze my patootie off as it was 39F / 4C. Stopped at a fuel station to warm up...

More likely at how fast I killed four Stella's.

Odd thing to have at a bar - dunno why.

Finally had some real flood for dinner; ghost pepper burger and a few Stella's...

Wife said we have a bit of snow tonight. But if could be sunny and 50F on Thursday when i expect to be home. Or it could be worse - have to wait and see,

Heading to Arkansas tomorrow. Not expecting it to be too much fun though. More tomorrow.....
