  2. A blat over Snake pass and Woodhead pass to clear the cobwebs. Made a tit of myself when i couldnt get round a steep cambered left hand bend infront of another biker Oh well at least i didnt drop it. What gorgeous weather
  3. That was the bike i had first for learnong on and yes it was a lovely bike. Nice looking too. I will het to grips with this lady in time.
  4. I think it was Andy flinging the obscenities around
  5. Yes to all that and im in complete agreement !!! I do shove it around but only when no ones looking. If theres a crowd i stand there like a helpless female and let Andy do it i never ever thought that day would come for me but it has and i dont care anymore
  6. Hubs has packed in sailing on a sunday now so we go out on the bikes. He did a flounce from the sailing club actually We went to Anglesey last week....dunno where we are headed today but it looks lovely and sunny so all is well
  7. Hiya @Slowlycatchymonkey its 217kg.... but i think the issue is where the weight is rather than the actual weight. Its just bloody awkward to shove around. Ive also put metal pannier racks and top box fitting. Probably closer to 220 kg now. Dry weight. I just need to kick my ass more in the gym My test was horrendous well the mod 1 was.... i failed first time for not hitting required speed on swerve avoidance what i think i did was i dropped off the acceleration too soon and engine braked in the speed trap. Anyway im glad thats all behind me. We were both stressed to the hilt from it all !!! took us a year from start to finish because of lockdowns. Ive just looked at the suzuki sv weight thats the bike i learnt on. 165kg so quite a big difference there then. What are you on?
  8. Well i dont know who Bruce is and are we trying to find the snitch in the camp or is it computer wizardry?? I might be the snitch witch snitch. Snitchy witch....
  9. Ha !!! Ill put a hex on the lot of ya.

  12. Im on honda nc forum too...dead as a dodo for bants on there
  13. Perps !!! peeps PEEPS DAMMIT !!!! Here we go and 3, 2, 1.......
  14. The bants arent there and thats what i liked about it but there are perps on there id hate to lose contact with. Tbh though i havent been on for ages. Been busy with the bikes and works gone mental.
  15. Bloody hell !!! what a carry on.
  16. Sure will. Does he know about this place?
  17. Yeah he does. Hes coming back this way in 3 weeks. Hes an absolute legend. Him and his mrs are awesome people
  18. Old grump has taken her innards to sort. He picked up the carbs and tank on his way back from scotland last weekend.
  19. What did you think once you fettled it?
  20. Tis a heavy beast but like i say its only when you are shoving it round manually. Riding, even at slow speeds it doesnt feel heavy at all.
  21. Its only when im moving it around manually that i find it awkward and heavy. The suzuki 650 i learnt on was a breeze compared to this but once im actually riding it theres no comparison, it knocks spots off the suzuki. Im just pumping more iron
  22. I passed my test and was looking at either the CB500X or the NC750X. The hubs was after a Tracer 900 gt. Im only 5ft 3 and it was suggested i might struggle with the X so i opted for the NC750s. From a short arsed womans point of view its heavy to push about. Its got the turning circle of a ship and you can easily hit the rev limiter. However, once you get to grips with it its an easy bike to ride and it has some nice grunt to it in any gear. Ive put a puig touring screen on and fitted pannier racks. The touring screen was a must as i struggled on the motorway with it...i was hanging on rather than riding im just under 10st. Once rhe new Bridgestones were scrubbed in i found more confidence to lean in more and the bikes solid as a rock. The front 'tank' space is huge and can fit a helmet in. The petrol goes in under the pillion seat. Bloody hreat on fuel too !!! Great first big bike and im having a blast on it so far ☺ Yes the screen totally ruins the look of the bike in my opinion and does look like the queen aliens head in aliens so ive called her Ripley.
  23. Are they decent asses though ?
