Now i do have to but in, sorry lads. When i were a Lad: i used to take my mates bikes out ( Local Suzuki Dealer ) for a couple of hundred miles before the local dicks heads took them out for a test ride. The Early Busa could do 0-100mph and back to a stop in 10sec..can your bike!!!? If not you will not get close to the Busa.. Some times i love being old: Cos I know stuff. Also Ren will know the truth...

  3. I did the same as Ren, i just stopped..One day i thought ang on a moment i am not enjoying this any more, just back from Holiday with loads of cheap backy and papers...chucked the lot in the bin and never had any..I think it was the same a Phill, 12 years ago..Does not bother me when mates come around and smoke. I never tell them they should stop, tis up to them. Rock on Phill.
  4. I had fall down Bobs T-Max to repair here, don't remember now what was wrong with it but dealer wanted an arm and leg to fix it. I had to remove a load of plastics and they all popped off..the frame was bent...after one of his roundabout off's..Took a week to get all the plastic back on looking sort of OK-ish Sheffieldd was Liam had 2 T-Max's.
  5. I went with Mike Backhouse honda Silvewrwing, Julian on a T-max, Jaz on a honda 250 sumutorother.....a few more but the little grey cells have died off a bit now.. I remember a German guy the first morning yelling if the bastard who snores does it tonight i will kill him>>>>Jaz and Julian like a 747 going over your head....but al night.
  6. I went to that meet Clive, i won the Stanav for the longest trip to the site but never went to collect as i was in the Pub. On a Burger 650 at the time.
  7. Don't forget to check the shape of the rollers in the variator..
  8. same ramps as i have, one is perrrfect, tuther arrived a day or 3 later and is twisted and crap. I use them to get the lawn tractor out of the shed.. Never used for a bike yet as i am still able ( at this time ) to push the bike...for a few more months anyway.
  9. i have a nice Mivv full system and a better screen here for one O them, maybe an oil filter or 2 Ow! and a satnag mounting thingy that fits inside the screen.. Pick up when on hols in North Wales. Lyn.
  10. if it is an import it cannot be a Vespa Douglas they were made by Douglas i think in brisole ( Bristol ) well my dad's was anyway. 1960sumut 150gs.
  11. Congratulations.. Good luck to you both...

  13. Ow! and a new rear tyre when we got home,,had one fitted before we went
  14. It tort !!! me a lot about the Burgman 650 that run Phil, chasing you down the motorway.. If i had the Burger in Auto till the ecu cut in, about 110mph.. Then switched to manual it went from gear 6 to 5 then i could open up till cut out. Feather the throttle till it got back to run smoothly, open up again in 6th gear overdrive..the GPS said 138mph it was not nice to ride but WoooHoooo! downside was seeing the fuel guage dropping as you looked at it..I recon it dropped to about 20mpg, but what a great tourer, kept me going on two wheels thanks to you guys. Folks said it was half a Hayabusa engine..and when i later pulled a few to bits to fix for a dealer or two, i found they were correct..same pistons rods and valves..happy days indeed.
  15. Not a bother in the world then, now we just want to stay alive a bit longer
