I like my K1200S, in fact it’s the second one I’ve owned but I don’t think I’d buy another one, I’d probably go for the K1300S which is a much more sorted bike overall. 
 

Or a Kawasaki Z1000SX which I like the look of.

Aberfan has always affected me greatly. I wasn’t born when it happened but my family talked about it when I was a kid because I grew up in a Colliery village in the North East and we had a slag heap nearby.

When I was old enough to understand I watched a documentary in my teens that shook me up and even now I still can’t imagine what those poor kids must have experienced. 

The episode of The Crown about the disaster is a tough watch but brings it home the horror of it all. 

Finally, after all these years I managed to watch Fight Club last night.

What a great film! How come nobody told me about it?

Just a hunch 

One springs to mind and also one I've never admitted to...until now. Was on a trip to Germany in 2016 and left early on a Saturday morning to head back to the UK from Neuerburg on my own, leaving the others at the hotel. Leaving the town, there were roadworks so I stopped at the red light and then went on the green as usual. Thing is, the roadworks lane was on the left and when I set off I stayed in that lane and headed down the road totally forgetting where I was until a van came towards me flashing it's lights and beeping it's horn. In a split second I realised I was on the wrong side of the road and moved the bike across to the right so quickly I ended up riding on a grass verge and nearly binned it before pulling over and spending a minute nearly throwing up with the shock. Anyway, got back to Calais in less than 4 hours so the day turned out alright in the end

well... there is this chap named tango on this ere forum who has done something orrid. he has only gone and retired and is now living not far away from that there beach.

stick him on ignore before you see some of his photos and this will help prevent you from falling to the floor, foaming at the mouth.

Was a great ride from there back to Millau, under the bridge (much better). 

Moolies were lush.

I do have a top box actually.

 I just haven’t fitted it yet…

Not bad, a few health issues this year which has stopped me riding but on top of it now I think. 

As soon as I get out there a I’ll be reporting!
