  1. After all, Social Media has decimated so many forums in recent years........why try to start one now? Well.......the world has changed a lot in recent years! And even though Facebook is completely dominant now it's also changed because of the world we now live in. These days it's virtually impossible to escape from the bombardment of Politics, Covid-19, and ludicrous memes! It just never stops! And while it still serves it's purpose as a quick instant chat platform there are concerns about it's Privacy and the way it harnesses peoples' data. You get bombarded with Ads continually.......and when you do post a great ride report on a motorcycle group it's more or less disappeared off the bottom of the page within a few hours. There's many excellent groups on there..........but the way Facebook works isn't ideal if you want to find information. All the resources existed to be able to build this forum in terms of commercial software and server resources, and due to the Lockdown I've actually had the time! So I thought why not? So that's the reason for launching this place.......in fact it's history goes back to DualSport UK back in 2004. And hopefully it will bring a lot of guys back who've lost touch with others over the years. If you have friends who may be interested then tell them. And remember there's also a lot of guys who won't do Facebook........so here's a place that may suit them. Thanks everybody.......good to see you here!
