Out again with the ginger fella.   Walked to Spit Beach and did about 6k.    Saw the Mrs’s Cousin in his train at Par docks on the way.    Never far from a  relative in Cornwall.   Bloody nice down Spit but cold.  The Dear Boy had trouble with his ears in the wind.   That concrete structure is a WW2 relic.
When I was a kid we were often taken to Spit Beach.  The local folk lore was because there was nowhere to spend money there, so a cheap day out for the parents.   No ice creams or buckets and spades to buy.   Reality was probably because it was quieter during the holiday season as you can only get the on foot.   Holibobs never used to walk back then.   Can’t move for the feckers now.

Yesterday's little jaunt. A few of us pushed on a bit on the way back, but then had to stop and wait for the rest. The weather was not too bad for it either.

Out with Mandy and the group again this morning. It was a bit parky when we set off and didn't really warm up much during the ride. Not many pictures as I didn’t have much opportunity to take that many. I was on my non-ebike today, so had to work a little harder at it! 😂😂😂

My walk was fairly mundane today but good to get out anyway.  It's impossible to walk by the river at the moment as everything is flooded big time so we just plodded around the local roads...............

Well, just because the lightweights weren't up for a ride I thought I'd shame them! It was a bit chilly and pretty windy too, but I chose a route to give me as much shelter as possible. Thankful for the eBike when I was riding into 25-40kph headwind, especially up hill!

@Clive that's about as deep as I'm prepared to go! 😂😂😂

The plan was to walk across the sand bank and around the other side of the small etang. The only problem was that it was blowing a hoolie and the wind was not only biting, but was whipping the sand up like a sand blaster, so we bottled it and walked back to the car to have a hot cup of coffee!

Went out and about with the Dear Boy today. We did 7.5k but he’s was distracted didn’t want to pose for any photos or even mooch about like he normally does.   He even got a bit frustrated with me when I stopped to take some pics of stone piles.
Call me soft but I think he knew there were birthday prezzies at home for him.
Anyway he is happily sleeping now after being spoilt on his 7th birthday.
