One of the pillion passengers took some video footage but I can’t upload it to YouTube for some reason, anyway I’ve done a couple of screenshots so you get the idea of the local terrain…….Pete, note it’s not kiss-me-quick hats and tattoos around here. 🤣

Lots of cracking pics, I wish I still had dirt bike adventure bones
I miss ploughing through deep puddles and rivers, jumping off every hill and bump I can find and getting home too exhausted to stand up straight

I find I can get the same feeling just bending down and lacing up my boots now.

Just popped out for an hour to blow away the cobwebs.  Down to Fishy Gizzard (Mevagissey) then back to Pentewan and home.
I spend a lot of time in Meva as that is where my choir is.   I am sort of grudgingly accepted down there because of it but Tis a bit of a rough old fishing port really.   Looks lovely but the pubs can be a bit fighty.   Not so much in the summer as the Holibobs fill the place.  Lots of Holiday Parks up through the Pentewan Valley.

It's just so easy to live with, I think that is the key.  No hassle  getting out on it, just grab your stuff and go.    Light and easy to ride, cheap to run and fast enough for 90% of occasions.  I am a convert and it is something I would never have even considered 6 months ago.  I have come to the conclusion that I want a bike to ride not be a trophy.   In that vein I am going out with my mate tomorrow who has a red CB, he is thinking of buying another Indian (FTR whatever that is) to go with his Scout and a Benelli 502C  to use everyday to keep his CB nice.  I don't get the mentality myself,  he is a bike collector rather than a rider in my opinion.  He has covered a total of 25 miles on two wheels since last September.  I have told him what I think so I am not bitching behind his back but I just don't get it, thousands of pounds for ornaments and bragging rights.    🙄.  Oh and he has a Van Van he won't ride because the tyres cost to much.  🤨

Really Pete I never once picked up on your new found Honda fandom or inability to grasp other types of bike enjoyment, you’ve always been so embracing of all forms of bikes, riding and bike ownership, you need to be less subtle to get your message across:rofl:

She's just bitchy because you're no longer suffering the misery and trauma of Indian motorcycle ownership.
