Skippy Posted October 29, 2021 Share Posted October 29, 2021 I’ve been browsing through some old photos of previously owned bikes and there have been a few horrors such as an early Ducati Multistrada but by far and away the most hideous thing I’ve EVER bought was this piece of shit, a Suzuki 1800 Intruder thing. What the fuck I was thinking of? Frighteningly rapid in a straight line with enough torque to tow a Jumbo jet but had the turning circle of a tanker. It was a feckin barge after being used to KTM's , I went around a corner once and ended up on the wrong side of the road. It had a good front brakes and that was it as far as I was concerned. Uncomfortable, useless side stand and mirrors, completely inaccurate fuel gauge and always felt like it was going to go ‘pop’ when I worked it hard.
