I may as well make a pigs ear of it and put Suzuki stickers on it.

When was the oil changed last @Clive? In terms of miles and time?

First thing I'd do is change oil and filter!

It was done (the guy said) about a month ago, it's only 2000 miles in between oil changes, no filter, just a strainer, and only holds 1.3 litres of oil.....but I will (for my peace of mind) change it soon.

Definitely worth it Clive!

It will cost me nothing as I have 4.5 litres of semi synthetic oil in the shed.

Only a 10 minute job, and I have a centre stand which helps.

Apart from the stickers, and the prancing nag😂 sticker to remove I have bugger all to mess about with on it, so the oil change will be summat to do, at the weekend when it cools down, like a bloody oven in the shed.

The first thing YOU'D do!?!? 😂😂😂

I've done most of them Bob......this Beemer is the exception cos it's very fiddly.

Plus I'm too old to roll round on the garage floor now.

Hair dryer.....peel off bit by bit......then use Triple Wax to remove all residue.

Suzuki stickers are the worst.....the whole bike could fall apart but the stickers will still be there.

Now what use would I have for a hairdryer?😂

Will use my daughters dryer, just looking on Flea Bay, see if there is any sticker sets I could utilize.

I wondered where the laugh was to be had in this thread - and there it is.

What's the latest on what you plan to buy next then Dave?

You've bound to have changed your mind since last week!

Nope, stuck with the same plan. Wait until there’s stock in the UK come spring, by which time I’ll have cash for all the spare bits I want to lob on to the CRF. As I say, no point grabbing something I can’t use because the lanes will be closed and no point getting something large because it’ll sit in the garage unused.

Maybe if touring Europe was a reasonable idea I could consider something larger, but with a pair of dogs and no one left at home to look after them we won’t be doing that for a number of years (I’d never put them in a kennels).

Happy to wait, pretty sure the 300 Rally will tick most of my boxes.

You don't need a large bike to tour Europe Dave, i've done France twice on my 250 Rally and I'd happily set off on it tomorrow.  just use the back roads and you're laughing.............
