boboneleg Posted September 6, 2021 Share Posted September 6, 2021 After @MooN report on Verdun and others expressing an interest in the D-Day beaches I thought i'd bung up some photos of my trip in 2019. I had been trail riding down at my mates in the Lot area of France and on my way back up to the ferry at Cherbourg I decided to visit the beaches and that area. The morning started out dry but soon turned to rain which sort of added to the sombre atmosphere of the various sites. At some point I would like to go again sometime and spend longer at some of the memorials.
