imo it's definitely a frog, toads don't have the lovely patterns that the frogs do.  We used to have Toads as well but I haven't seen any for quite some years now .

Toads can be very patterned, the one that does a circuit of our house every evening is but yer yours does look too slim and long legged to be a toad 🐸

It's a sea urchin shell, we used to collect them when we were kids .

A revisit this one, went back after a couple of years to take the shot again, this time with better knowledge on how to do it
