65% of those being hospitalised in UK at the moment haven't been vaccinated

Does the current vaccine give any immunity to this Indian variant?

Yes it seems as though the main 2 Astra Zeneca and Pfizer still work.

Andalucia is bringing forward the second dose of the AstraZeneca formula, from 12 to 10 weeks.

So in principle I should get my jab around 19th July.

Bigger land area less population.👍

We're lower than France, Italy, and Germany as well.

I'm surprised to see Germany up there because in the early stages they seemed to have it under control.

The delay was caused by the availability of the vaccines!

This region of Andalucia (Granada Norte) has now been moved to Level 1......lowest risk, marked as a green area.

We're finally getting there!

Balearics may be added to the UK green list.

But Frau Merkel says UK tourist should not be allowed in.

Seems sensible.

Portugal seems to be getting worse, a little worse overall and a lot worse in Lisbon and surrounding area. Saying that, they're now evaluating stopping the deconfinement measures, because apparently Lisbon is all that matters for politicians. They're doing that while delaying confinement orders for Lisbon, any other area of the country with the same numbers would have been shut two weeks ago.

Having said that, I'll be getting my first jab tomorrow. I'll be sure to ask if they can give me the one that makes it possible to travel back in time, or if not, the one that lets me speak to the big beast ...

I am hoping to go for a proper ride next week or the one after, summer is here and I'm jonesing for some quality time on the bike, followed by a couple of days at the beach.
