Never owned a Vespa, because there were no Vespa dealers in our town, only a Lambretta stockist.
Husband grew up riding vespas and involved in all that scene. I grew up in Australia and didnt know anything about it until i met Andy. As he's a vespa man i just went with that. I like them both tbf. I havent ridden a lambretta though. Apparently they are more balanced etc...

Well yesterday actually. Went out for a ride on gs with my buikt up boots on that cost a small fortune and success !!! Felt 100% better. Didnt feel i had to weigh up the ground at every stoo etc... just got on with it. Rained constantly but my Dainese jacket and 2nd hand Dainese trousers kept me bone dry got a Shoei Neotec 3 helmet which is definitely better than the 2. Was hard to see though. Had my visor up most of the time. Only other bikes we saw was a group of 4 GS's. I got a cheery big wave off all of them. Seems GS riders only wave at other GS riders then.
I spent the whole time not indicating because 1. I dont have to its a BMW and 2. WTAF !!! Who designed these indicator switches a complete psycho did.

Picked up, Mot'd, and off to sunny old Blackpool with a brew at Lytham. I was absolutely terrified every time i stopped. An extra inch would be nice... oooh errr mrs.
May have to invest in some Daytona boots but they are minging. Why do they take all the armour off womens bike gear and then charge a bloody fortune for it. Does make my blood boil.
Anyhoo, no one died and i didnt drop it.
The actual riding of it is awesome. Can't fault it but it is tall.
Cant thank the hubster enough. Constantly reassuring me despite my panicking !!!

I dont have the room for that. Howcmuch was it to buy it back?

Would it be worth buying my bike back from the insurers and selling it privately. Talking to other bikers they are saying its what they did?

Get to pick up the money pit tomorrow. This is going to be expensive but hopefully chased away the last of the gremlins. He's done the forks AGAIN. He's found out why it was twisted at the front as if it had a bent fork...it doesnt...He's cleaned and balanced the carbs and put new carb mounts on. Serviced it. So we shall see. It sounds amazing. Wish i could post a video on here
Sooo the twist is due to the triple clamp being twisted. Its not pleasant to ride now. I know it was twisted before but i was used to it. Seems different now and horrid on a corner sooo i got one off ebay and a yoke just incase that was also bent. Hmmmm this little bike grrrrrrr

I often wonder what goes on in my, admittedly very spoilt, Jack Russell crosses head. Everyone of his toys has a gimped right front leg, non of the others are touched but he always attacks and takes the stuffing out of the right front. The only exception is his walrus where he has gimped the right front tusk. ???
I dont know but russells are thee best dogs on the planet end of.

I like them. They have always been spot on with me. Did us a good deal on stuff that was stolen from hubbies bike and it was all their own suggestion. I cant fault them but yesterday was a bit ridiculous.
