  2. End of May/start of June my plan is to meet up in Zaragoza with a couple of mates from the UK. They’re taking three days to get there but I can do it in one so that’s a good deal for me. From there, the plan is to head west across the top of Spain, taking the smaller roads and just explore with no set plans. We’ll have about six days together and then they’ll get the ferry back to the UK from Bilbao while I head south to home.

  10. Visited York a few times, in fact my first outing when had been in England only for 1 month was to go see Thirsk and see James Herriot home, then stayed in York. Great place and was also flooded, funny enough. So much love for all the notices and the records and the pioneer engineering coming out of "British land"! Really miss all the funny streets and sayings, the laughter and fun that goes with all of it. Special place indeed! Thanks for sharing and reminding me of how much I love it!!

  13. It's a beast as well.. The Railway Museum was a lovely place, but quite crowded, also difficult to get far enough away from anything to take a picture of the whole thing. I have not shown all the railway pictures to avoid it being too much. My mates stayed in the pub for this, I wandered over to it, walking gingerly and slowly. Cost me a pound to get in. Took some pictures of Mallard from above.

  17. He wants to take control of the country and all it's assets......so leaving as much intact as possible is in his interests. Same goes for Poland and the other former Soviet satellite countries. If he does go nuclear then the US, and to a lesser extent the UK, will be his targets.

  18. if he is asking them for help , could be a sign he is not going to use his nukes ?? not on Ukraine any way.

  19. Just taking to my boy in Poland......some of the people he knows in work are starting to make plans for what they're going to do if it kicks off. It seems that heading for Germany is what most of them are thinking. Just seen reports that US military are loading a huge number of vehicles tonight in Rzeszow, Poland......which is around 60 miles from Ukraine border.

  29. Tomorrow I'm heading to the other side of Pai to try a trail which is supposed to run along close to the Myanmar border. If we succeed we get to eat pizza in Pai, if we don't succeed we get to sleep on the mountain again. Should be good. KLX230 and CRF450RL. Here's hoping my clutch holds out this time - but we've got the two rope just in case

  34. I didn't do the walk around the walls unfortunately, just up some steps to get my first picture along an empty bit. Mostly it was rammed with people and I wasn't in a fit state to be held up if I needed to get through fast. I hope to go back as there was a lot I missed. Very friendly local people.
