Well my T300 Hinckley was delivered today. it is old and was cheap but I am chuffed to bits with it. Somebody has thrown a lot of money in consumables at it in the last couple of years. Starts on the button and sounds as sweet as these things ever get. I have no history apart from what I can glean from the DVLA MoT check. I can see a lots of tinkering in my future.

Another scooter day today, brekkie, tapas and 200 klms of twisty tarmac.

When you say fluid change does that mean you'll be washing it again. Looks good , enjoy.

All in good time. I am chuffed with it, needs lots of cosmetic TLC but is pretty spot on mechanically as far as I can tell. Newish discs and pads, hel braided lines, tyres less than 2k on, new back shock, new chain set. Needs a new fuel tap but I can get a kit for that. Also have no clue about valve checks so will need to get that done before to long. Apart from that a fluid change and all should be good to put it on the road.

They’ll use the tracks that get the trucks. Can’t risk damaging the tarmac on F1 and MotoGP tracks with all that mass.

No mate that was me with the lid and jacket and the sun has fucked it up so rather than a manly blue it’s now a poofy purple. Good excuse to buy a new jacket I’d say, I’ll explain to my missus that you took the piss out of it and said I looked effeminate in it. As for the tripod………yep, that was good old Pete. Bank Holiday today (rememberence day in France is on the day , not the nearest sunday) adn bizarrely nice weather, up to 17deg c and blue skies, so, having shovelled a 2nd coat of varnish on the shutter from the kids room and a first coat of rattlecan black on the ironwork for it, I got the bike out and was about to leave when a mate rang asking if I was thinking of riding and if so leaving when? I replied "now" we met up down the road a little way and ended up doing somewhat over 200km in a loop north and east from home. Great afternoon out
