Ow! and wear rubber gloves to stop grease from fingers *ucking up your hard work.
-
I use coolblack, try engineering tool firm. Every thing must be clean,,i sand/grit blast and use brake cleaner to de-grease ..cover the parts in Cool black and leave over night. Once black enough remove and wash in deionised water drop in clean oil for and hour or so..Leave to drip dry, buff up. Or i used to use to do Ali stuff to but that used very nasty chemicals that could and WOULD burn you, so i gave it all away. But not difficult to do at home. As long as you a safe place to do away from dickheads. Lyn.

I think i still have your address on file.....unless you want people driving by your residence calling you a retart....that would be hilarious ....lol.

He couldn’t even get that right.

A half flouncer
-
@Six30 never fully flounced.
-
I get what you are saying but I where’s the fun in that.
-
Marcel after changing his name to @Vamana Gupta (which is Hindi for “secret dwarf” btw) is very close to his annual flounce, I would say it was a play for TOTY except I have been dealing with the unstable twat for too long and can see him teetering on the edge of the precipice. You are all free to give him a push.

Seems so!

Made some progress today. Got the silencers back on and fitted a new rear brake switch. Got a fair bit of cleaning done and started stripping the from fairing. I have a new screen to fit, plus I want to paint the mirrors and replace the Kawasaki mirror that is fitted with a Triumph one. Also fitted LED bulbs to the Headlights, I have ordered some LED side light bulbs as I didn’t have the right ones.
-
Id have to say @Sir Fallsalot for also flouncing... theres my nomination
-
Never tried it, i usually just get new fixings if they go rusty its easier
-
Has anyone one had much experience of black oxidising steel hardware, bolts and the like. I have hot quenched a few bolts to blacken them and I like the results but I am interested in doing it chemically as well and have bought a kit to do the same. I am blackening any thing that is rusty on my Sprint going with the Darth Vader theme. Just wondering if anyone else has tried this and have any info to share.
-
Strong argument Bob. I miss the silly fucker though
-
So a flounceing member can be enrolled ?
-
I'm voting for @Six30 for chastising people who flounce only to do it himself
-
Yep, I vote for @Saul as well , my second vote would be @Buckster for keeping this place going.
-
I guess he lives on the shore of the wick river , he's often goes swimming during the summer months..and really enjoys fishing ...
-
Looking at your profile@Buckster my causine Rishi lives in Glasgow now, have you been in that area? i've promice to visit him next year after the monsoon , he's been telling me it's like a little india , even the smells are the same ?
-
Mrs. Hook & I were invited to dinner at a friend's place in Cove OR this evening...it'll be nice to get outta the house amidst all the liquid Sunshine that's been falling from the sky lately...
-
DITTO....stand up & take a bow @Saul...you've earned it.
-
Funny how that "carbon fiber" toe protection looks just like a piece of duct tape.... state of the art for India I guess.
