  1. Past hour
  2. No its not...but it should give you and good idea what the problem is ..before running out for a new throttle body...
  3. I know...but they still call it plywood over here..
  4. Lovely, but Shadow would slit his throat if he had that Plus he hasn't got two pennys to scratch his arse with. I bought the Ped for £2500 for him, gave him a grand towards it and it took him 3 years to pay me back the rest. Bank of dad is closed to him.
  5. It runs absolutely fine just dies at idle. Only way to increase the idle is to adjust the throttle cable to keep the butterfly open a fraction like an idle screw would. It's what I have done and it seems to be fine at the moment but I don't think it's an ideal fix. The sad thing is Fuzz Nuts has had this Ped from new and it's been a good servant, but not looked after. The only reason it has not blown the motor is I change the oil every time I service one of my bikes. Other than that it's not touched. He expects me to pay for it to be serviced, but he can feck off, the piss taking twat earns more than I do. I don't mind helping, if asked, but I am not good with teenage attitude, I could go on but won't
  6. I have the bike he needs Saul … treat the boy
  7. So it only dies at idle...runs fine when riding ?....personally I would do like Rich was saying..nothing a good stick of dynamite won't fix..lol There's no way to increase idle temporarily I suppose...
  8. i knew my crayon work would do good one day... i just saved this guys marriage
  9. And I though my strawberry ice-cream fetish was bad..you lot over their are sick bastards... I had no idea ..
  10. Soggy Biscuit = Chase the Biscuit. Apparently.
  11. It's a fuel injected GY6 engine, if it was carbed it would be easy to fix. It just dies like the tickover is set to low, no idle adjustment to be set. It's a basic fuel system really just nothing to adjust. Fuel pump is fine, injector is fine, I am suspicious of the throttle body but don't really know. Valve clearances are spot on but a fraction loose deliberately, excellent spark. I am guessing good compression as it goes as well as any 11BHP motor has a right to.
  12. Not to familiar with scooters...when it dies Saul...does it sputter or turns off like a kill switch .
  13. Today
  14. Mate you have never met the daft twat. He makes noises about wanting a geared bike but can't save a fecking penny. Spunks all he earns on Tik Tok shop on utter crap.
  15. He should just bite the bullet and get a proper bike like a cagiva mito or rs125
  16. Anyway Saul ive got to stop these childish behavior of abusing my motorcycle this way....I promise myself yesterday after the burn I'd be first and last with this tire...the bike has to last me another 5 years...and if I keep this up...don't think it will last the abuse...
  17. Or chase the biscuit like the best public schoolboys.
  18. Started stalling again. Grasping at straws with the thing really. I stripped it all again and cleaned what I could. Throttle body, injector both as clean as I can get them. I turned the ped over with the injector out and the spray pattern looked okay. Seems to be running fine again but I think there is wear in the shaft that the throttle butterfly rides on as it sort of jams now and again. Not sure that would make it die but the throttle does hang very occasionally. I may see if I can get a replacement on EBay. Also the rollers are rattling in the variator which I am guessing means they are gubbed. Going to strip it all down for a look in the week because it must be due a belt and rollers by now. Also needs a back tyre as the MoT is coming up. Fuzz Nuts ain’t going to be happy.
  19. why dont you just both meet up and have a game of conkers to settle this
  20. Here we go again. Shadows off the road. . To be fair it probably wasn’t her fault this time she just picked up a 50mm wood screw. The annoying thing is that it went through into the tyres sidewall making it unrepairable Also the front tyre is all but on the wear bar so better to do the set. Looking at around £130 for a set plus fitting. Rang the local guy who will see what he can get, Hopefully get the wheels done on Tuesday. Fecking bikes are keeping me poor. Just checked the odometer and she has done 12,000 miles since last October.
