  1. Past hour
  2. All high performance engines ( except harleys) run these types of pumps...think Harley are still running the old mechanical style fuel pump like these if Im not mistaken ?
  3. I did that this morning to check it. Sprays fine in a pretty good even pattern as far as i can tell. Starting is fine it just stalls at tickover once warn and off fast idle.
  4. It could be one of those electronic gremlins to...lol...not sure how it's made , if it refuses to start , is there a way to pull the injector out wyll still having it connected to the supply line ?
  5. That's a lot of plastic, looks like a part off an Indian.
  6. 8 min 38 sec, damn, they must have spent a fortune to beat the standard 10 minutes
  7. Totally agree with that , I am going to explore the extra drag from the variator/drive belt first idea as that spins with the crank all the time. I don't have a way to check the pressure from the fuel pump but it was pretty cheap so I bought it just in case.
  8. It's looks like a fuel pump right out of a Honda crv..lol. Anyway you can fit a pressure gauge in there Saul... Most of the time...and I say most of the time , not always, bad pump will start failing underload..not at idle.
  9. Without doubt. I think it's the Bikini Faring and black red yellow livery that had me. Has hints of a Kawasaki ZRX about it to. Also looks a bit like this to but with a proper engine.
  10. Today
  11. it's a public school thing, think David Cameron, Boris Johnson class of fella.
  12. stole stole the head light of cb1000r neo sports cafe
  13. Soggy biscuit is a male group masturbation activity in which the participants stand around a biscuit (UK) or cookie (US) masturbating and ejaculating onto it; the last person to do so must eat the biscuit.
  14. Check it for flaky residue, he may be using it for additional purposes.
  15. i dont know what soggy biscuit means .... i gather its not the form said biscuit takes when dunking in tea
  16. Nothing between the tank and injector the only filter is the sock on the fuel pump.
  17. Probably worth checking the fuel line and if there is a filter then swap that as well.
  18. I won't answer that in detail because he is at the age where I would rather thump him than look at him. Probably not but he hasn't got much sense.
  19. I don't think there can be much in the tank, I will of course check and do have a low mileage second hand fuel pump to put in just to rule out the current one failing, parts are pretty cheap for these things second hand. Also I cleaned up stream from the injector but not the tank so it does need doing. Only thing that is expensive is the throttle body and CDI unit. I am going to do the drive belt and variator first though just in case that is causing drag, enough to stall the bike at very low revs. And seeing it should have been done at 6k and the Ped is on 12k tells me it would be smart to do. Lean't allsorts about these fecking things the last few weeks. I wish I had gone with my convictions and bought him a second hand Honda ped or cub type thing in the first place. His mother insisted he had something new but in the long term I reckon he would have been better off with an Innova 110 or something of that ilk. But what the fuck would I know.
  20. True that...forgot you guys run that cheap Russian gaz...
  21. Was the Crazy Harley vs sport bikes ? Still say Rich is blowing smoke out of his arse...
  22. Just a couple of small modifications, it was basically standard, it was even running a street tyre.
